David’s 45th Birthday Odyssey

For my birthday, I got tickets to see The Odyssey in IMAX, and I’d love for you to come celebrate with me.

My actual birthday is Friday, July 17, but we’re doing the movie night on:

Saturday, July 18
AMC Indianapolis 17 — South Meridian
6:00 p.m. showtime

Please try to arrive before 5:30 p.m. so I can give everyone their tickets and we can get settled before the movie starts. You do not need to buy your own ticket as I already have them.

The movie is almost three hours long, so we’ll probably get out around 9:15–9:30 p.m.

After the movie, anyone who wants to keep hanging out can come back to our place in Fletcher Place, near Fountain Square, for pizza, cake, and casual party games — probably Jackbox, What the Dub, Use Your Words, or whatever people are in the mood for.

I’ll send the house address separately to anyone coming over. Street parking is usually available nearby, though you may need to park a block or so away.

I have 18 tickets, and because I only have a limited time to return/refund any extras, please let me know by July 14 if you’re in for the movie. Also let me know whether you might come by afterward so we can plan pizza and cake.

Hope you can make it. I can’t think of a better way to start 45 than with friends, a giant movie, and a little odyssey of our own.
