27 movie A-Z film-a-thon 2025

I am watching a different movie for each letter of the alphabet, a movie that I was not planning on watching for a long while. I thought this would be a good exercise and see a wide variety of movies I would otherwise not think of seeing

Young Mr. Lincoln (John Ford, 1939) – 8

Zulu (Cy Endfield, 1964) – 6

That’s it. All 28 movies of my 27 mini-movie marathon. I am not sure how quick I will do another big project such as this, but this was very rewarding and was a great way to see a bunch of movies I would have never gotten to otherwise.

I need a breather and actually see what is new to watch that is streaming now. I see the Black Bag, Hard Truths, and Novacaine have started streaming since I started this project, so I have something to be excited about.

Look for my follow up Film-a-thon: “27 Movies I Might Actually Like.” All movies that only got mixed or worse reviews that I think I might like more than everyone else. Snow White, The Lone Ranger, Showgirls, etc.

Til next time.

Ciao.
